Roseanne and Primrose returned to Oxford. Roseanne was made Senior Community Dental Officer in Oxfordshire which she remained until her retirement three decades later. She worked in mobile clinics in North Oxfordshire and at a fixed clinic in Bicester.  Primrose went on to qualify as an Orthodontist practising in Oxford and then Bristol until her early retirement in 1991.
